Change Password

This window allows the user and not the administrator to change their passwords and background if they need to.

Please note that this window is different from the one that allows the administrator to change a given user's password with or without their knowledge under the menu System/Configuration/Change user password.

How to Change a Password

To change a password you go to System/Change Password and a screen like the one below shows up:

• Your User name: This field will automatically be filled with the current user's name, e.g., "Performer".
• Function: This field will also automatically be filled with the current users' function, e.g., "Branch Manager".
• Enter Current Password: In this text box type your current password. If it is correct, the other fields become active so that you can proceed.
• Enter New Password: Enter your new user password. To know more about the qualities of a good password in Loan Performer, go to System/Configuration/Users/User General settings.
• Confirm your new password: Re-enter here the same password for confirmation.

Please note that in Loan Performer passwords are not case sensitive, which means you can enter a password with either capital or small letters ("Performer" is equal to "performer").

• Background: If you wish to have a different background from the one set system administrator for all Loan Performer users under the menu System/Configuration/Users/Add a User, then click on the button to select the file.
• Save background only: Click on the Save background only command button if you want to change the background only. This Loan Performer background will apply to only this user when he/she logs in.

Click on the Save command button if you want to save both the new password and the background.
